My name is Mat Rosa and I have been an instructor at Art Institute of Las Vegas since 2006.  I teach upper-class Web & Interactive Media Design classes focused on programming and usability.  I operate this site to help provide my students with class notes and instructional materials to support the classroom activities.

I have a degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.  I spent 6 years in the hospitality industry as a Financial Controller with Holiday Inns Worldwide and Morgans Hotel Group.  I entered the technology field in 1994 co-founding a technology incubator in NYC followed by several years of consulting on Internet presence, identity and strategies. 

I am currently the Director of Research & Development for webcasting & DRM services provider iStreamPlanet where I oversee application architecture, product development, and new technologies research.  I am also a graduate student at UNLV School of Informatics.
